April 1st Virus attack planned…

What can I do to prevent being attacked by Conficker.C on April 1st?  Besides unplugging your computer from the internet please make sure the following steps have been completed.

1.       Make sure all of your Windows Updates are up to date.
2.       Make sure your Anti-Virus program is up to date.
3.       Do not open any suspicious looking emails even from people you know. If they have a virus on their machine it will send from their email and look legit.  Do not open any attachments that you are not suspecting.  This is a good rule of thumb to use always.  We would also recommend not visiting any websites that you are not familiar with and trust.
